According to an old prospector named Axel, Daisy Town is haunted by a Ghost Train that was wrecked years ago by a drunken engineer. Landon sees a chance to grab Axel's land by having him declared insane.
Luke promises to heal Axel...but that night Axel races into the saloon, screaming that the Ghost Train is coming to get him! Lotta helpfully locks Axel in one of her rooms, but Axel vanishes!
When Lotta encounters the phantom, Luke puts here in jail for safe keeping explaining it's only superstition, but then she disappears!
By now the town is in a panic, helped along by Becky's articles about Landon and his mysterious connection to the old train wreck. Luke has to track down a lynch mob that wants Landon's neck, and solve the mystery of the Ghost Train.
